Stake Discussion Thread [Spoilers?]

For thos building something larger than 64 Blocks, remember if you place:
first stacke + 64strings + middle stake + 64 strings + last stake
the distance between the first and the last stake is 129 blocks:
64 + 1 + 64 = 129
so if you want a 75x75 square the following setup is needed:
first stake + 64strings + middle stake + 10strings + last stake
64 + 1 + 10 = 75

I love the stake... it realy gives you the feling of being a medieval ingenier planing to build something big!

Not just medieval. Building foundations are still laid out with stakes and string today.

Put two stakes at least 1 block away from each other, make sure those blocks aren't occupied my vegetation,torches or other blocks, make sure the stakes are in a straight line from each other, and face the far stake while clicking on the close one with your string.
