Villager baby spawns between parents

Much like animals, villagers have no male or female in the breeding pair when having a baby. Given that villagers have their own scroll, farming them has become much more important, requiring automated farms, rather than just build an infinite spawner and come and kill them every so often.
I suggest that, much like with animals, the villager baby spawns inbetween the 2 parents. This would help with the automation of villager farms and mesh with the change to animal breeding.

Besides that, we would need a villager-shaped breeding harness for them. How would we get that big honking nose to fit in there?

don't minecarts work well enough atm? I've seen lots of ppl use minecarts to hold the villagers still. But yeah, I wondered why villager babies never spawned between the parents.
