Basically this. If it's heavy enough to keep you from swimming, it's going to sink in and compact soft, tilled topsoil just as much if not more than if you jumped on it in bare feet.
Not a huge deal and not worth it if it will take actual work, just something that hit me and broke immersion while touring an old world today

It my just be my take on things, but if you have the resources for full SFS, you are probably past vanilla farms and on to auto ones.
Actually, second thoughts here. My hemp farm isn't auto. It's just long, 3 wide fields with water running in between. I just run along and bat them all down. Its volume is so large I haven't even bothered to automate. Perhaps there is a bit more depth to this suggestion than I thought. Anything that forces more automation is good in my books. The question still remains however, is it worth the time?
