I'm actually a little surprised at the enthusiasm over the Tuning Forks. I've hardly heard anyone mention note-blocks since I started working on this mod, so a few videos of people putting together Black Sabbath's Paranoid and the such with vMC aside, I really thought they were such an obscure feature for vMC that this would hardly make a splash.
Anyways, I'm glad to know that people will be getting some use out of them :)
Actually, I've always been using note blocks, I just could not bring myself to make them into proper tunes. Noteblocks are an amazing notification system, because they do not require line of sight. In 99% of my farms, I connect a noteblock and clock based alarm system to the collection hoppers, so that if the chests they feed are filled I get a warning I can hear almost anywhere in my base ;]
Now with this fork I can actually tune them to something less annoying :P

This is to prevent exploits with animal breeding facilities where the animals are forced into situations where they exist in the same space.
I do have a question about this. What are the conditions exactly? Do the two animals have to be full on in the same block? Or is there a certain amount that they can be clipped into each other before they start getting hurt? Kind of an stream-of-consciousness thought, but now that I've had it I would like to know.
By the way, awesome update! Tuning forks are awesome as the method for tuning note blocks has put me off of them.
Placenta. No words... No. Words. XD

And placenta .......
PLA - CEN - TA !!
Cool man! I've never seen you use note-blocks in any of your builds, so I had assumed the forks wouldn't be of particular interest to you.
I'm pleasantly surprised by the positive reaction they've been receiving. I really just considered this a "just for fun" idea that I decided to put in one afternoon for my own entertainment :)
