Man, I know you're trying to be helpful here but there's a difference between trying to help someone survive and spoiling the particular effects of something that is supposed to be menacing and scaring the hell out of them.

People who want that kind of non-spoiled experience don't usually go onto forums to ask specific spoiler questions. I'm not going to go spoil stuff people didn't ask about, but if it's a direct question, I don't see how a direct answer can ever be considered a spoiler.

Some people should just give up man, as BTW isn't for everyone. Multiple threads for noob questions, a certain sense of entitlement in the posts, and the lack of even a simple "thank you" when there's a outpouring of help from the community in his other thread all add up to me thinking this is likely not the game for him.

Hey Gil, sorry for not responding to your original response to my response. I wanted to, but didn't feel I could properly articulate my opinion at the time. Currently it is many hours later and FlowerChild has already said most of what had to be said. I'll just add that though I understand your attitude of giving straight answers to straight questions, I still feel that you would be robbing people of valuable gameplay experience.

While you are correct, Mud is technically also correct (the best type of correct), a doggie with a full stomach wont go eating random shit off the ground.
