Also, just realised I could have spent just over £20 more for a direct flight without having to stop off in a city that apparently stopped updating or cleaning their airport in the 70's (This is not a poor country). I've also been informed by a friend who is a native of said country that this happened all purely because of my race it was very unlikely that the appropriate searcher was unavailable at any point during my stay!
