So, I seem to recollect it being mentioned that the whitelist would start out with a few trusted members and slowly expand. Does this mean that someone (myself) who previously applied and wasn't added, might at some point be allowed in? Or am I pretty much shit outta luck at this point? I don't want to sound like I'm pestering, but there's no point for me to come back and check the whitelist otherwise.

I would imagine that the official server is the place for BTW play at its height, so are there any amongst you privileged elite that would care to write a few anecdotal accounts of the goings on of the server? I'm aware they'd have to be somewhat after-the-fact to avoid giving away too much information to your rivals, but I for one would be greatly interested in reading such accounts. I think it might be too much to request videos (I believe Battosay discussed this recently somewhere in the forums) but would it also not enrich your play to publicly flaunt your daring and dastardly raids, or to read of your victims' woe at finding that their steel stockpile had been misplaced ?

Im in the nether, I go afk for 2 minutes. I'm in a closed room. When I come back, there is a lava waterfall over me.

Turns out a retarded Ghast believed it was a spider, thus it could see through blocks... He shoots over and over until the wall breaks and lava falls over me.

Yeah, I think you're right about that. I know I'm living in fear of a ghast going nuts on some of my nether-rail lines, as I have quite a few portions that are enclosed in glass.

Guess it doesn't make much sense they can't normally see me through that anyways, but I've gotten used to it being the case.

I may take a look into that bug if it isn't fixed in 1.4.4.
