I think you would need multiple bellows since the will only stoke a 3x3 area of hibachi. I'll give it a go and come back to you.gazelutza wrote:and how do u make 4 x 4 hibachis?:> with Bellows ;)

Re: How to wire a 3x3 floor of Hibachis?
I like it, yours allows for more versatility when powering it, you only need to power the redstone. not the block.

Thanks FC, aside from all the great other features, this one really bugged me.FlowerChild wrote:-Fixed problem with arrows bouncing off of mobs.

Re: How to wire a 3x3 floor of Hibachis?
The blocks used are irrelevant, I just used it to signify the input block.

Re: How to wire a 3x3 floor of Hibachis?
I've posted this before in the useful builds thread but this is my design you might want to have a look at:
EDIT: It's a 3 long tilable design, shouldn't be too hard to work it out but just one note, the emerald block need direct power rather than indirect power.

Just a quick bug report, slabs still have the old wood texture on the top.

Re: Likely changes to F3 and its implications
I think a relatively simple solution would be a block that stacks to a nice round number like 100. Then you could easy work out distance from there. 64 just makes things confusing when counting stacks.

Re: Torch Code.
It's good but quite expensive on the torches. Why not have something like a torch with a certain block behind it, you can still have 8 directions and only use a third of the resources.

Re: Sharing useful builds that get the job done
After looking at Battosay's new kiln design I couldn't help but think that it could be simpler. After 20 minutes of experimenting this is what I came up with: http://i.imgur.com/KdRI9.png Underneath the stone block is a redstone torch on the side of the detector. It powers the redstone next to the b...

Re: Sharing useful builds that get the job done
I was going to share my builds...I then I read this whole thread, and felt inept. However, I did see some discussion on powering hibachis. The compacted vertical one posted earlier takes slightly less redstone then this, but this is an alternative to anyone who is okay with horizontal redstone. htt...

Re: Sharing useful builds that get the job done
This isn't necessarily a build but I just made a tile-able circuit to power 3 hibachis. The green wool indicates the input for the circuit. The timings of the repeaters are irrelevant; they're just to make the hibachis turn on with an even number of ticks between them. [/ocd] http://i.imgur.com/Vm2...

I made the 3 hibachi tile significantly cheaper and a little more compact.

I have accumulated about 10-15 of them from dungeons/strongholds and I just don't use them, the gold could be better spent on other things.

Render golden apple to nuggets
After a search of "golden apple" in this sub forum nothing came up. It's simple enough; render down golden apples to 8 nuggets in the crucible.

I can confirm that it is tile-able. However, you can only power all the tiles at the same time, not independently.HaloGamefreek wrote:Have you tried tiling them? Im not too sure this works but if it does its definately becoming a part of my Alchemy/pottery room.
