Re: HC Hunger in Creative mode

I tend to see creative mode as a kind of deeper form of minecraft. Meaning the landscape is inside Steve's head, and he's thinking up plans and ideas with accuracy so precise, it seems real. I guess it could remotely build off of some storyline ;)

Re: Looking for ways round vanilla bug..

Yeah, this happens to me also every once in a while. One time I accidentally ate a sandwich with only half a bar missing, and the amount of fat it gave me made me slow right when I needed to get away from some spiders... I think you can figure out how that went x( ...

Re: Flower's Dev Diary (Week Of March 18th)

Personally, I like to have a permanent home in mc, something that i can look around and know where I am, something that I wont have to wander off too far. I have a really terrible sense of direction.. One time I left my base riding a pig just for a stroll, about 2 hours later and frantically looking...

Re: Share your hardcore hunger stories

I updated my world to 4.60 and started testing how HCH works. First i got really fat and had a ton of trouble burning it all off, then i tried starving myself. It was then that i went into my mineshaft for no apparent reason, and found a skeleton waiting for me... Now with my hunger at 2 bars(?) I q...

no more hardcore movement bonus
I've found the hardcore movement applies everywhere in every fatness level, it's pretty hard to notice because you move so slow, but I have tested it and hardcore movement still applies

Re: New Release! (BTW V4.60)

Wow FC!! this update is huge! I've been building up food in my world to prepare for HCH, but theres so many more possibilities now! Great job :) -Removed wheat seed drop from tall grass. Domesticated crops like wheat, potatoes, and carrots, must now all be obtained through finding a village. I under...

I heard somewhere the separate texture files will support high-def texture packs, is that true?

Oh and on HCH, what will happen when someone has a healthy diet? Will they build muscle, or only not get fat?

I'm playing on the double island seed right now, and its brought me back to btw :)

I'm living on the smaller island and feeding off the larger one. Theres also a huge cave system just below the smaller island with loads of stuff to help anyone get started.

Brown is a dark shade of orange, so if you try orange and black that may make brown. I'm pretty sure this is how I got brown, but it was long ago so I don't really remember...

Re: Hardcore Sheep color crossing/mutations: problem?

breeding them from white sheep only is nigh-impossible... In the world I have now, I started with all white sheep. Now I have only purple, magenta, light blue, and red that are left. It actually didnt take too long either, just keeping them in multiple pens, feeding them whenever i get around to it...

Re: Hardcore Sheep color crossing/mutations: problem?

My friend and I have gotten every color of sheep just from breeding. Yes it is very much possible, it takes large chunk of time from other work.

Although, the sheep only sit in their pens doing absolutely nothing, because we have no need for more wool than we got killing extras...

This is why I can't have nice things...

So just recently (Today) I got back into playing btw because the ftb modpacks were too techy for me, and the people on the server i was playing on were way better than me. Anyway, I just got the 4.55 and .56 updates today and started a new world with all configs at default besides buoy, and started ...

Re: Dinnerbone in BTW MCF thread

I remember something a long time ago Notch said about MC that he started it to be an RTS, but then he found a sp style would be better. Personally I heard about mc when a friend told me he was farming on a platform but fell and was killed by zombies. Also, with the way we talk about Mojang treating ...

I had the exact same problem in my base. What I did was replace the solid block with a piece of redstone, and connect the signal of the BD to it indirectly with a block sitting over the despenced redstone.

Regarding invisibility personally, I would rather gather a platoon of creepers, make a splash potion, and turn the invisible creepers loose into the world. It may be kinda OP, but I'd still like to see: some dude - "omg! my house just exploded out of nowhere!" ... me - "Huh.. must hav...
