My baby sheep are dying because they spend almost all their time trying to jump on the ledge that leads adults into a saw. They seem so desperate to jump that they forget to eat, even when there's plenty grass around! They aren't even trying to get to an adult sheep, they just firmly believe that they can make the jump until they starve.
And with the new mechanic of baby animals needing space, constantly standing next to a full block might be even more troublesome?

That's an entirely fair observation. Will see what I can do.

Re: Baby animals trying to jump full blocks
I have some extra information.
Had some chickens in a semi-auto feeder. It was fenced off and I broke some eggs outside it. In the morning I found dead babies. Experimenting, they would run up to the fence and starve trying to get to the chicken feed even with grass under them. I took this as a lesson-learned on the hypnotic power of Steve feeding animals and modified my setup. I bring it up since fixing hypnotic jumping might change hypnotic feeding (possibly intended but possibly organic-complexity).
