Problem with launching BTW when using a texture pack

Problem with launching BTW when using a texture pack

Hey all. I recently reinstalled BTW and am having a strange problem. I followed the guide at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8506 and then dropped the texture pack from viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8654 in the TP folder. This allows me to play the game using the TP if I put in the folder after being at the main screen for MC. However if I start MC with the TP set as default it never loads and eventually tosses an error. I know that I can just remove and replace the TP each time when I start but that is a huge pain in the ass. The crash text is below. Thanks in advance for the help.

I know I've had problems loading the game with my texture pack since installing MCPatcher 5. For some reason the loading times with MCPatcher installed have skyrocketed. It can take over 5 minutes to load the game, but I've never had a crash.

The game loads fine with Vanilla and takes less time to load in Vanilla TP and switch in game than it does to attempt to load the game with a custom TP assigned. So I just switched to Vanilla, made the Options file read only and now I just have to switch to my TP every time I load. It is an arse on but the features of MCPatcher 5 are worth it for my TP imo.

You might want to try using MCPatcher 4.3.2_03. It loads the game much quicker but you lose certain new features from version 5. However (and Ion can correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think the Conquest TP you chose utilises many (if any) of the new features.
