Harvest-able afterbirth?

Just curious how I am supposed to harvest all this afterbirth from animal breeding for building the afterbirth virility beacon. I have tried all the tools (yes even a glass bottle). I just want to get the beacon so that all my eggs hatch 4 chickens.

Do they have to birth on a hopper with a certain filter??

Mmph you're doing it wrong, you must fully utilize water streams to bring it all together (but not too much water, diluted afterbirth doesn't work) after they have all been gathered in a centralized zone one must make full use of hardcore packing with a pinch of soul.

Also, don't forget that you'll need wolf booties and the closest player must be wearing a Gimp suit.

I was under the influence you had to concentrate the placenta all at once in one area, as Magikeh says. Not tried it but perhaps using a shower of the afterbirth (as in, multiple excretions at one time) into a hopper or cauldron would work, then packing the top of it? The idea being reducing the afterbirth into a usable form. Just theorycrafting here, I still haven't got to end tech yet so I can't try everything and be sure. But someone else definitely should try all avenues of approach.

You need to hook up a screw pump to the mother in order to harvest afterbirth.

God, that sounds painful...

I like it.

I made it to distilling the afterbirth with soul in the cauldron but can't figure out how to make bricks. I get to collecting the chunks that cause the nausea but have no idea what next. I can't place it to bake it like clay and pistons just push the drops around.

I suspect you need more potash.

recommending use of pottery wheel to shape it after pasting it together.
Also glaze with gunpowder and hellfire dust after first bake. Then bake repeatedly.

(if it catches on fire that's probably a good sign)

That's unfair, you can prove everything that way. Obviously anything on fire is an improvement.

While it's on fire, make sure you throw in some blasting oil, otherwise it'll be brittle after baking.

And don't forget for best results to bring a witch in and have it throw a potion on. Every birth needs a midwife.

I got somewhere by retracting the twitching placenta mass into a block dispenser.
The result sort of looks like an inside out companion cube. Except it was still moving, and the eyes follow you.
