i was recently reading some other news story about an april fools joke gone bad, and i ended up following a number of links to more than i care to count all about april fools jokes that caused more grief that enjoyment. we all can appreciate a well played joke, and while some of us respond poorly, sometimes the joke is in such poor taste that it was destined to fail. i don't want to share examples of these moments, i want to discuss the title they have earned. are the 'april's woof chow', or perhaps 'april fails?' satre's jesters? i don't know... is there already a name for these people? perhaps a darwin awards equivalent?
