I'm not sure if this is the right subforum to post this question, but whatever.

1) this is the wrong place to post this
2) my add on, which I am going to revive sooner or later, will add alternatives to these that fit into the game.

Not really the wrong place, the question is more along the lines of 'what do you guys use for color variations'

Mostly I just use all four colours of wood

Late game whitestone and if fire-proofing isn't an issue, coloured wool.
Earlier on, smooth sandstone, snow or leaves (walls only because of the movement thing) mixtures of various planks and logs, hellfire blocks.

Ah, see I thought he was asking for FC to implement them or something.

I think really most of the colors can be found in the aesthetic blocks, like black quartz, white stone, hellfire, lapis, etc. plus they actually look cooler anyways.

Thanks for the replies! And yes, I was looking for color variations.

I use colored wool, which is a bleeding pain in the neck transporting in and around the nether portal. Sometimes lapis if I can spare it, sometimes Kegs and Rope in place of that lovely Hay Block (I still have my hopes up for that one). Even blocks of dung and packed earth look good in the correct places. Black quartz and all its variations too.

FC added a shitload of aesthetic blocks actually, why not saunter off to the wiki to find them all?
