Terraria: The Story of Red Cloud

If you haven't yet, PLAY THIS MOD. It was made by a huge fan of the Dark Souls game(s), and is basically Terraria: Dark Souls + Legend of Zelda. It features incredibly detailed dungeons, lots of secrets to discover, a crazy amount of new items, enemies, and bosses, and nut-busting difficulty.

It can also be played with the latest version of Terraria (although it doesn't have the new 1.2 features; it really doesn't need them), comes with several "sandbox" style maps that allow digging, supports multiplayer...

I really can't say enough good things about this mod/map. Go play it. NAO. :)

Wow, thanks for sharing this, it looks awesome and definitely worth a try.

Just one question, when you say it doesn't have 1.2 features, do you just mean that the map doesn't include any 1.2 content, or that installing this will basically revert to pre-1.2 Terraria and add the new stuff? If the latter, how hard is it to switch back?

It is the later, but if you install it correctly, you will be able to freely swap between 1.2 and TSORC using the Game Launcher app.
