Problems installing to server

I am having problems installing the BTW mod to my server. Everything works fine in single player. When I try to copy the minecraft_server-jar files over I get an error that says minecrat_server.exe: The archive is corrupt. Does anyone know why this happens?
Also its a brand new server.

Did you delete the server's META-INF folder?

No I did not. I thought you are not supposed to. It is not leting me even copy the files over because of the corrupt minecraft_server error. I tried this with a fresh server and the same problem happened.

I downloaded the minecraft_server.exe off of the minecraft website. I then place the .exe in a folder on my desktop and run the server. After that I open the minecraft_server.exe with winrar 32 and thats when I get the error when I try to copy over the files.

Are you keeping the server running while trying to move files?
And yes, don't delete the META-INF. Sorry about that, I should've been more clear.
EDIT: Don't get the .exe - You need the .jar file.

I got it running. I was using the exe and not the jar file. Thanks for the help!!!!
