Grind the hemp plant in the millstone and use 6 hemp fibers to make rope (2x3 grid). Use a handcrank to power the millstone until you have enough rope to make axles and have constructed a waterwheel or windmill.
Place regular leather in the millstone and grind it to produce scoured leather. Put the scoured leather in a cauldron along with dung from wolves. Heat the cauldron to tan the leather.

Other way...
Download Too Many Items
Get rid of your .minecraft folder (be sure to save your saves)
Start MC
Close MC after getting a new minecraft.jar
Replace your saves
open minecraft.jar with some compatible program
Put in the files neccesary from BTW, ML, and TMI in that order
Delete MetaINF
Close all neccesary windows
open MC
press your invintory button
scroll to find hemp finders and tanned leather and click on them
Succes
Download Too Many Items

Alternate method:
Look at the page marked 'useful links'; you'll notice a link called 'recipe list'. All the information you'll ever need for making stuff is on there, in a user-friendly format.
