As always ion those look pretty amazing :). I think I may have to steal that fence design in the last photo.

Mob farm in my new world: https://imgur.com/a/VFma6. I decided that I would try and make the area getting to it actually look good. Usually if my mob farm is above ground I put a building around it but then it looks ugly on the inside, or I build it underground (like this one) and never add anything. So this time I fixed that.

The world I started playing after the recent update trend had an extreme hills nearby with several floating islands. One has a high water source block. I've made it my base and I'm trying to integrate a castle aesthetic. I'm not super far along yet. And yes, my structure has caught on fire a few times.

This isn't a build, it's more like an interesting occurrence I came across while walking around my world. It's kinda funny, makes me wonder how did this happen... Ravine party...

This is how I start my mob farms typically if I have a high enough water source. I laid out my spawn pads and central gathering point and built an aqueduct system to match. This lets me build my processing center at the height I want first and work my way up from there.

Ion and Sterling beautiful work!

Ion has the prize for fantasy build with that texture and design but Sterlings build into location and scale are very impressive!

Thanks for sharing!

Been a while since I've posted here. My most recent world (I changed the biome colors because I didn't like the blueish color). Warning: Very large images.

I just made an album with the auto pottery setup of my previous world.(pre-AAAAAAAAHHHH) it needed some tinkering to make it work again, but there it is.

So after a couple of years I finally decided to finish the skin of that old monstrosity that is my wool farm.

It is a gargantuan project, at least for my standards. The sheer amount of right clicking to orientate mouldings sidings and corners alone is staggering. I have the left and right side more or less done, but I realised I'm just making a huge flat rectangle, which is very boring, so I'm trying to spice it up a bit on the front and rear sides, taking some inspiration from art deco architecture and general aesthetics (of which I am a huge fan)

Meanwhile the actual farm is switched off because I simply can't store all that wool :P

I built a new stable for animals, which currently only holds cows. Eventually it will also have pigs and sheep, once I go and get them. https://imgur.com/a/jMlwHDG

That is a fine barn you've built. I'd share mine but it's shit. You've encouraged me to build a better one :)

Got a sorting machine for the mob grinder.
Quickly "throw something together and get it working" snowballed into building a monster bigger than the mobfarm itself.
Designing everything to fit together in a 3-D puzzle was quite a lot of fun, and this thing barely fits in the height limit- with the lowest floor anchored onto bedrock.
Added bonus of everything being parkour friendly and being able to climb almost anywhere in the machine.

Each item type has its own hopper- which is used as a buffer to batch process items.
A full hopper emits a redstone signal to control the mechanics. A full hopper signal empties the cauldron/crucible and switches the gearbox driving the hopper. The hopper then empties itself, switches off the signal and the now empty cauldron/crucible rights itself before the items get there. This is the first time I've used the tipping feature for automation.
Space limitations mean the iron and bows operate off a single control circuit

Can you upload a smaller version of that pic somewhere? It's coming in line by line like Drew Barrymore on a 14.4K modem :)

Huh weird. The second one is 1720x720. Might be imgur's servers are serving it slow, though my connection loads it fine. I guess another 50% smaller to 860x360? Also trying a different image host.

Idk why or if it's even actually connected in any way, but the first two images wouldn't load for me initially. Went to the third, loaded just fine. Went back up and both of the larger images then loaded just fine for whatever reason.

But anyways. Oddities with images doesn't matter in the long run: I really like your windmill design! Hopefully soon I can actually manage to survive long enough to make it that far (not a single problem with the mod to be honest, just my own lack of time to play and the silly mistakes I make because of that thanks to trying to rush when I should be taking it safer and easier).

I'm making progress, but I still don't have a sustainable food source. I've eaten all the nearby animals, and I want to save the ones further out to bring back once I can breed them.
