Can't use mod

Can't use mod

I installed modloader correctly, and the BTW mod correctly. The game started, no black screen and everything was fine. Then when I began my world, all of a sudden the game went to a 'Saving Chunks' screen. It stayed on that screen for around 15 seconds and then I got the black screen. What happened?

Did you try starting a new world?

To resolve this issue 95% of the time before this even goes anywhere:

The mod is not yet compatible with version 1.7.3 of Minecraft.

Well I was using a 1.7_2 minecraft.jar file. In-game it even said I was using 7.2 . Unfortuanately I did not start a new world :p. Thanks Flower I will try it out.
