All the pieces are there and there's no duck tape? I call fake.

What's with all the hate over it being fake? >_>

I know it's mostly jokes, but seriously? Am I one of the few people who could actually assemble that thing? I think I even still have my old board under my bed, and I have no doubt that all the pieces are there and usable.

Either way, there was one major flaw: There was glass over the wolf, obviously. And he wasn't suspended over a pool of water. So how are you going to collect the dung?

Is there anyone saying otherwise? If so, they're retards. I used to play that game all the time with my sister when she was 8 and I was 6 and neither of us had any problem setting it up

Well, that's what I'm getting from comments like "It didn't get jammed and break" and "this game was so bloody annoying to set up..."

Honestly, I think I set the game up more than I actually played it. I love causing chain reactions for some reason.

I agree KWilt. We had this at the daycare I went to and even after the wear and tear of likely thousands of kids it still "worked" in that it wouldn't jam or otherwise not catch the mouse.

I seem to recall that setting it up was the game...

The only difficult part was balancing the final trap piece so that it didn't fall down right away. Otherwise there's slots to tell you where to put all the darn things, so I don't see how anyone would have had problems setting it up.

I agree, by the time you did it all there was no time left to play the game. Anyway, when I was seven i didn't play it, i just set it up and watched the chain reaction happen. :)

That is the joke. Everyone can assemble the thing.

Thanks

Sometimes I tend to not see the wood for the trees.

I can't see the point in building a contraption designed specifically to not kill a wolf.

No, I mean I thought the way the game was played was you moved around the board setting up the pieces one by one til the winner put the cage up top and set off the whole thing. Maybe we were doing it wrong, maybe I'm completely misremembering.

No, that's actually how you played it. But I don't think anybody actually ever played the game. I think we all just loved setting it up to watch it go.

Agreed. What a waste.
