Glasses all the way! Contacts are to much of a pain put in and take off. That and whenever I would get sleepy my eyes would make excess mucus and I couldn't see with the contacts in.
Not only have I been wearing them since I was three and I would feel "naked" without them, I've also been told that I would have to wear such thick contacts that they would actually do more harm than good.
Not to mention glasses are far cheaper.
Glasses. Contact lenses for my visual impairment are hard to get where i live and pretty expensive, but they would be quite convenient for me as its hard to look at blackboard with my glasses - I have to lift my head quite high to see through them and looking from above my glasses is inconvenient;/
Sorries for my english, it's not ny native language. If you are a grammar nazi and feel an imposible to suppress urge to correct me, feel free to do so in a private msg. I'll try to keep it in mind and not make the same error again:)
Glasses... kind of.
I'm of the crowd that I ought to be wearing glasses, but I don't so much. I could never wear contacts because I'm absolutely terrified of having things in my eyes, even water!

Um... I don't wear glasses, but I figured I might as well share my anecdote anyways.
I'm partially colorblind in my left eye and have a lack of clarity in my right. Other than that, my eyes are entirely perfectly 20:20. So while I don't need glasses, my eyes are by no means normal. :P
Glasses for me as well. I have a severe aversion to anything going near my eyes (can't even use eyedrops) so there's no way in hell I'd ever use contacts. But my vision isn't terrible. I can see and read just fine without them, but details and words would be slightly fuzzy and I'd eventually get a headache.
Seems like I found quite a good question to ask here ...
I wear contact lenses by the way and I've got no problems with them except those times I spent 12+ hours in front of my laptop.
When I'm at home I usually wear my glasses because I'm to lazy to put the contacts in.
And yeah, seems like we are a rather blind community. xD
My eyes are not that bad (roughly -1.5) but I still end up wearing both, depending on the situation. I wear glasses when I want to look intelligent (it works) or am doing a lot of reading, and contacts when I'm going on a night out and need to be able to recognise people quickly in a crowded, foggy club but expect to take multiple blows to the head.

I have never needed contacts or glasses but i have always had this problem where for periods of time my vision goes blurry as shit and I can't make out shapes for about 20 mins, I can make out colors just not shapes :/
Because it has always only happened for max of 20 mins I've never told my mum about it, hmmm I probably should at some point :)

Yeah I ride a bike a lot, (thank god it hasn't happened while i'm riding) so it might be smart to tell a doc, It's been getting worse over the last year.
To be honest I don't really understand why its happening because my sight is perfect otherwise hmm :/
