[BUG] Sand not falling in front of detector block

Post by BinoAl »

Im pretty sure this has the same cause as the one i reported where a piston wouldnt push a block in front of a detector block, but just to be safe: Sand blocks won't fall in front of detector blocks, they just sit on top of what i assume is the "detector logic" block

Different cause, but valid bug. Thanks.

So is it a bug in 2.64? I'm on 2.63 and it fell.

Ah. BinoAI, have you overwritten the world.class with that from another mod?

If so, then that's why this is happening. As I've mentioned before, doing so will prevent the Detector Block from functioning 100% properly, and this is just one such example.

Thanks for verifying sargunster. Saved me some time there.

How could you use a piston in 2.63 ?

Just tested it myself.

What's happening is that sand placed more than 1 block above the detector block is falling properly. If it's place directly above the invisible detector block though, it isn't beginning to fall to begin with.

Valid bug, will fix.

So basically the detector's logic block winds up acting like a torch?
Abracadabra, you're an idiot.

Doesn't this bug have to do with detectors? Not pistons?

BinoAl was the one who was talking about pistons in a previous bug report. Sargunster is the one who you're quoting here, and he was talking about the bug in this thread which has to do with falling sand, and not pistons.

No need to discuss it further, I've fixed the problem.
