Rayne's new Mod List

Post by Damion Rayne »

Below is a list of mods I've been looking at over the weeks since I started getting into minecraft mods with BTW.
Major Mods add large amounts of game-play changes or updates.
Minor Mods add subtle improvements or small additions.
Aesthetic Mods are what they say, sound, graphics, etc

No Somnia? It's a nice mod to combine with the automation mods, since everything continues to work while you sleep (takes longer than the vanilla bed behavior, but still faster than waiting out the night).

@Katalliaan: I can't speak for DR, but Somnia's useless to me. I work outside during the day, and down in the mines at night. Somnia would have no use as I only ever sleep once, just enough to mark my spawn.

Kaevator's Super Slopes and Timber Farming for aestetic purpose?
I think that two are nice

They tend to mess up graphics though. I remember a thread a while back about it-- dung was golden apples and hemp was cake, or something.

I remember something like sometimes only half of the slopes were shown, wich looked pretty ugly, but it happend only one time (untill the next reinstalling).
I can't remember of anything like messing up the graphing, for me dung was dung and hemp was hemp all the time. (I used only the super slopes and the timber farming)

Unfortunately the Water Shader is incompatible with Forge and BTW. Which sucks. Badly. And SDK never updated the gun mod after 1.6.6. Hasn't even been on the Forum since July. I'm liking MAtmos, though. Especially the wind whipping sounds on the mountain tops. Definately makes you feel like a mountaineer exploring a peak, instead of just climbing something to shoot sheep off of.

The only thing the Nethercraft link did was to again make me wonder why we still don't have apple trees.

Altering the wolf class file may prevent you from ever being able to tan leather.

Wasn't "he" a "she"? Anyway, I agree with the "awesome" part ;)
