1) - Mobspawns appear to be fixed. For those interested, this appeared to have been caused by the bukkit viewdistance limit, it was set to 7 (default by multiplay.co.uk) and <10 appears to cause the spawning issue. It's now been set to 10, and shit is creeping about! :)

2) - This also increases the server strain, due to the increased view limit. I am actively monitoring it and saving just in case, but I will remove the Isometric high detail map from Dynmap tonight to reduce the server strain, this appears to be the main cause (and also the main reason that multiplay.co.uk does not offer Dynmap to be installed :P). I will leave the topdown though.

Sad to see it go, but fair enough

3) - I am quite hungry, but as I woke early today I finally have some real food for my lunch in 45 min! WOOT \o/

On this day 3 warriors entered the end their names are Orangeweaver, Wgurgh and finally speedknight4 they followed in the foot steps of the first 6 warriors and the warriors that followed that fought the dragon, these 3 will be remembered for the trials they went though to fight back back the resurrected dragon, though they were 3 they fought with the skill and strength of 6, they have fought valiantly won against the undead dragon, they will be remembered by all that follow in their footsteps

Sorry to rain on your parade but this is actually the fourth death of the dragon. ;)

First was the group of six, then another group of 4 I think, then I challenged the dragon alone. So yours is fourth but still congratulations! :)

actually I was one of orgininal six, I just decide to script down all that fight the dragon, so if your on and you have fought the dragon just you tell me know and il write a little story for you adventure

My "successful" hunt was yesterday, died a couple times but brought his health down to a bit under 50%, at that point I was wrunning low an arrows and got help from M!C who also wanted another
round with the dragon. The egg I got this time does feel like i really earned it, no offense M!C.

I'd really love to see what kind of story you can make with this lostone.

Yeah as mentioned above I removed the dynmap completely to see how it goes. Ever since, performance has improved quite a lot with almost half the resources freed up consistently, although there are still random spikes when there really should not be (only a few players online usually during these spikes).

That said, this Thursday the server is being upgraded (from 10slots 1.5gb to 15slots 2gb). Technically a restart is all that is required for the upgrade to be applied, but I intend to take the server down completely for a few hours. During that time I'll make a full backup of everything - plugins, worlds (nether) etc.

Thursday is my weekend, so I don't know at what time I will wake up :P I will make a post here at least an hour in advance off doing anything, as well as notifying those on the server about it as well in advance.

Once downloaded I will add Flowerchild's tower of doom as a monument to the world. Once all is done, I will update the server to the most recent bukkit build for 1.2, currently this is a dev build. I hope this won't bollocks anything up, but if anything should happen I will have full backups available. I intend to add all current plugins as well, if available for the dev build, but it might not be possible to add all (not all are updated yet, so far iConomy does not appear to be available).

In regards to Dynmap;
I personally miss it already :P, I do feel it is a bit of a cheat to see the entire map so easily and figure out where to go, but I mainly loved interacting with each other whilst not being able to login and play. With the upgrades to the server, it might be less of an issue, but we will see how it all goes with 1.2. For now, I will not add it back yet.

Can't get back from Anarchy, the portal just makes your screen swing.

It's really nauseous if you keep at it for some time.

Also, the lag is much higher now that there are two separate worlds on a single server.

Think I found the missing permission, forgot the link to the old world in the new anarchy profile. :P NO RETURN FROM ANARCHY!! :P

None online, so server is being restarted with the permission change, should work now. Let me know if it doesnt. :)

IN regards to the lag;
This might be something that has to do with chunk loading (new world) and your own connection, there is a slight increase in memory usage, but still far below the available amount. There is hardly any additional strain on the server with the new multiverse, apart from when chunks are being discovered and loaded.
