Well, at least he's giving the impression of been more civil. But I'm afraid he wont drop this so soon if people keep replying to him.... Better just to leave him alone, for the sake of the OP, IMO...

Some serious facepalming going on with his most recent reply.

He says you're trying to ignore civility, even though you're the one suggesting that the argument stop.
He says you're the one blowing off his arguments, when you're merely suggesting a change of venue.

I gotta say, he's really trying hard. At what, I'm not sure. But he is trying quite hard.

I'm no psychologist, but I play one on TV, and I think he has a severe case of Intermittent Explosive Disorder, with a few sure fire signs of Paranoid Schizophrenia and possible Trichotillomania.

It would be faster for him to change the recipe himself than it would be to make all those posts in the thread.

I wish I could give some insight into this headhunter guy but honestly I just don't get the incessant hate and absent sense of humor.

Wow. I honestly have never been a big fan of those forums. I use them to download mods when I need them, but never glance at the actual forum threads/posts. The only time I ever read a thread there, was with BTW because I was simply blown away with the mod and wanted to pay my /thanks respect.

Thankfully Sargunster set the forums up, and after that I never returned there (apart from again, downloading mods when needed).

I just gone through the last few pages but it just hurts my brain. I deal with trolls and tards on a daily basis at my job, but that guy seriously baffles me. Luckily The Chordettes (music) just started and it's all good now. =D Moving on! :)

Yeah, I guess you're right. It's pretty unbelievable, but considering how high-strung he is and how he seems to go berserk at the smallest slight, I think that may just be it.

He didn't like me either. He said he was on a list... I'm pretty scared now.

I just recommend doing this, since anything resembling actual conversation with him is impossible, and I don't want to waste my energy being annoyed at him.

But simply ignoring him is too easy. I'm inclined to start a discussion with the guy via PM, and perhaps try to shed some light on the matter. As a problem-solver, and a fairly good mediator, I would like to hope that I can encourage the guy to exercise some critical thinking with regard to his rather narrow-minded assumptions. However, it would likely do more harm than good, as he would probably form the assumption that I would be approaching him on FC's request, and start a royal shit-storm all over again. Best to just let him have his tantrums, and laugh at his expense.

Online forums would be a nice thing if everyone was polite, and my diet would go smoother if everything tasted like cheeseburgers. But there's no point saying things which are so utterly inane. They are what they are, either accept or avoid.

What worries me the most about him is, he states his age as 44.

If it wasn't for the lack of eye-gouging grammar mistakes and one letter/number shortcuts and stuff like that, I'd think he is some angsty hotheaded teen on a holy crusade.
