D: Great, now I'll forever be reminded of these horrid trees when I hear a cute slime bouncing around.

I find myself just punching the wood over and over again while being horrified yet slightly amused at the same time.

Hehe...ok, I won't be cruel on that one.

It all goes back to Battosay's suggestion (which someone brought up above) that were the basic motivation behind these. These trees are MUCH better suited to automation than the others in the game. They present their own challenges mind you (those I won't give away), but the end result of using them in automation is a huge boost to productivity.

Lol! I did that for awhile myself while working on them. Walking on them is fun too :)

Is there a purpose for Soul Dust in this version?

That much I'd figured, the dread purpose line was more for dramatic effect. It helps if you imagine a crack of thunder, and a hunch-backed man cheering you on.

"Igor! We are ready! Throw the switch! LET US UNLEASH UNNATURAL BOTANY ON THE WORLD!"

Query though - surely one of the main reasons to automate a tree farm is to obtain a plentiful supply of sawdust? Given... some of Blood Wood's proprieties, that feature doesn't seem to be possible. (Sorry, i'm trying to dodge around spoilers).

Took me some time, but I finally figured it all out, how to get saplings, how to plant em, how to grow em, etc

I can't quite figure out how to automate it yet, but I don't think I'll need that much wood anyway

Great update!

Best. Birthday present. Ever.

Kinda. Blood wood though...recalls memories of last night. Good, yet awkward memories. When I gain feeling in my left arm back, I look forward to playing with this :)

Sadly there is something about this release that I don't like.
Which is that it does does no longer seem to be working with
Optifine B2.
And yes, I do know that this mod is meant to be incompatible
with everything and also standalone.
But this is where I see the line, until mojang can make minecraft
a bit less demanding hardware wise.

Still this I will enjoy it even though I will face a bit of lag and out of memory exeptions.

Thanks

Nothing should have changed in that regard.

Ok, I'll take your word on it.
Maybe I did something wrong with the install order.
I will try to get it to work this afternoon.

Edit:
Can't believe I messed up the installing order.
It does work now.

Sorry for the trouble.

Are the trees just taking a long time to grow, or am I missing something?

Also, you can use soul dust for dynamite. Sweet!

No... He likes constant updates. I have to agree though. Dropping the forge really seems to have boosted your enthusiasm flower...
