Looks like they're knocking out bugs left right and center with the new JIRA:

Village-specific IIRC.

So stop cheating and use the cement you've been avoiding.

Collectively, @Dinnerbone @_grum @EvilSeph and I have resolved 90 bugs for 1.4.3. Pre-release tomorrow, likely

Glad to see that they are fixing some broken windows, hope they continue that way.

It will be interesting to see how many of these actually are fixed... not much info provided on the root cause of most of these bugs and if they are merely patching over problems, they will come back.

At least they are "fixing" one cause (if not multiple causes) of these bugs, so if they show up again, it won't be the same fix again ^^ (or shouldn't be, from a coding perspective anyways) so they should happen less if at all anymore

Well Flowerchild will get a laugh. This is about the Pocket Edition of minecraft but it is kinda funny. Johan (@jbernhardsson) was livestreaming the new 0.5.0 update and did a little Q&A.
http://www.twitch.tv/jbernhardsson/b/337682771 start at the 11:50 mark of the video. LOL!
So..are we going to add wolves? Well we are not going to add wolves now because there are a lot of features that we feel are more important right now. Umm so we are not going to add that.
oh and 1.4.3 prerelease is out in the wild.

Looks like they have fixed the items getting stuck in blocks a little too well.
"pistonless" item elevator in 1.4.3 pre-release Jump to 30~ seconds in to see it in action.
From what I am gathering it looks like if you force an item into a solid 3x3 structure it will continue to travel up until it finds an air block, video shows it traveling 40+ blocks up before popping out. Hopefully this is fixed before release but thought FC should know about this glitch before it breaks the tech tree.
Some levity in case it is still in the game.

I knew it was only a matter of time before we found out what the bad news was. Seems to me like this is a rather obvious oversight. Mojang derps again! I can't imagine what other rotten eggs are hiding in the other 100 bug fixes...

I will admit though, seeing all those items float up looks kinda neat. XD But yeah, that does look game breaking.

I really wonder where the f*** Mojang gets its inspiration for the bug fixes... I mean, for this one, how hard was it to check the closest air block or destroy the item: I mean, its stuck between block, it's crushed GODDAMNIT. </endrant>
I will admit though that a community-run bug tracker is a novelty for a game company; they'll probably end up saving tons of cash not having to do in-house testing and letting the fan hordes do it for them.

Is that really a good thing? It is just another reason to actually play the game. Also, voting on bugs? Really? Really??? You can't bother to decide which bugs are more important yourself? Oh, wait, that's right. You don't play the game. ('You' being Mojang). Therefore, crap features go in, proposed by the twelve year olds that scream "use my idea now! Moar stupid things, like witches! Ooh, ooh. The End!" Best idea ever! ", and never holding out against the hordes of idiots like our eldtritch overlord has for a year and a half. (/endrant)

Letting people vote which bugs to fix first. I'll be in my panic room if you need me. *runs off crying and screaming*

Okay, thats sounds a bit better than deciding if it is a bug or a "feature", not much better mind you, but still it could be worse, right?

Isn't 'voting' for bug fixes just going to result in the exploits...not being fixed?
...wuthfu.
