Just wanted to say props on getting the animated stoked fire texture working Panda. I didn't even think that was possible

If you could create a thread in this sub-forum detailing exactly how you go it to work if/when you have the time, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm sure it would be useful for other texture pack artists, and I would also personally find it useful in evaluating how much trouble it is.

I'd like to include some other animated textures in the mod, but am a bit hesitant due to the hassle this may cause texture pack artists. If it turns out this is entirely reasonable to pull off, I'll feel much more comfortable doing so.

Omg, Yes!

Hassle? I don't think it would be construed as such. It would just be more textures we get to paint with our packs' flavors! And moving textures are almost always cooler, if done right.

If you're taking about how she found out how to get a file to overwrite a specific texture, even if there isn't a picture file for it, then I second this.

Panda? Props to you for being so gifted!

Welcome back Panda! I've given up ever posting in the suggestion thread. No matter how good you may think the idea is, just don't do it ;) Still, I'm glad to see you're still around. I wondered :(

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks Panda, excellent work on all of the new textures (I especially like the planter with the bone sticking out of it. :D)

i tried to say that the cracked but smooth texture you made for the white stone is the best texture one can get for the white stone

I really like this texture pack. I've noticed something strange however: there is a small shimmering on the double chests when moving. Is it something already known?

Just thought I would post this for anyone else experiencing the same problem I was, namely messed up zombie textures (missing their arms, faces, etc).

What I did to fix this was to add enough extra transparent space at the bottom of zombie.png to make the size of the image 128x128. Replacing the original file in the zip with this modified one has fixed the problem for me.

Hope this helps anyone else that may be having the same problem!

Sweet, I'll have to try that when I get home.

I like Panda's pack a lot and the messed up zombie textures, though intermittent for me, are kind of awkward when they appear.
Check my stream at http://www.twitch.tv/nekhs.
It's usually on sometime between 12AM-3:30AM CST.
Sorry if I don't immediately reply in chat, I'm usually too busy playing the game to notice.

no joke on the lot of other things part, i didnt even know ctm could work for mod blocks (unless im misinterpreting the texture sheets). im also really liking the chopping block and gonna use the shit out of whatever that wood looking texture next to it is (you know how i like my wood).
all in all, rather impressive.
