I haven't played SMP in ages and this looks like a rather good one. Last time I played I was mostly reforesting, but lately I have had an obsidian construction plan too bold to waist on SP.

Just to make sure people bear this in mind with respect to whitelist requests:

Thank you for your interest everybody. You are all more than welcome to come and play on Edolas, however for now I would like to postpone new invites/whitelists for a few days. Let's say a week after this weekend, just to see how busy the server gets with those that already have been whitelisted.

If it does get busy again, properly busy, I will simply increase the server specs/slots again. =)

I'm sure you are welcome to request whitelisting, but realize that it might be a while until you are added.

Everybody is free to request a whitelist/invite. I just want to see how busy it gets with the "old crew" before I whitelist others, or simply increase the server specs.

I asdly can't download a compact file. Even the backups (single world backups) are "mapped" copies that require me to download the files separately. It's pretty bad. :P Now though, I download the entire server + recent backups. Still has a bit to go, but once the download is finished, it should be quick going after that.

Still downloading, luckily it can do that whilst I get drunk. /off :P

I didn't properly keep count but I think our whitelist has between 70 and 80 people on it. Assuming 10% of those will be playing after the upgrade to BTW, we'll be as good as full ... but I'm sure once the initial excitement has passed there will be space for more players. :)

Actually I'm looking forward to old friends returning as well as a overall more active player base (let me dream, will you?) ;)

Server is down for a few minutes. I kinda.. forgot to enable whitelisting after I switched from bukkit to regular, and some griefers joined. Not to fuzzed about the damage to my own stuff, but other houses and such got griefed as well, which I'm not cool with. So restoring the backup of this morning, and at the same time fixing the end/nether. (bukkit uses seperate world directories for those, where regular has them listed within the main world directory, combining those now). Thanks for the tip about that from 8keep. :)
