Carrots and Pigs

It seems that pigs will be controllable by carrots in the near future.

So what do you think, is it stupid or actualy kinda of nice as it doesn't add another useless mob and gives an use to the carrot?

Saw a picture of what looked like the carrot on a fishing rod hanging over the pigs head while riding on it. Was a few days ago on dinnerbones twitter
