We got creepered. Then ghasted when the mechanical power went out.

EDIT: Turned out it wasn't the lack of mechanical power that got us ghasted.

It was someone who thought ghasts were nether exclusive.

After several hours I've finally managed to get a bit done. Wasn't really trying to rush through the tech tree, though. Just finished making my windmill with Saw and Millstones, next up is the blacksmith. Nowhere near as far along as the people near spawn, but I've always been a solo player at heart.

I may be the only person who likes building in swamps. Can't wait until I can get mossy cobblestone/bricks to make the buildings really fit with the whole swamp motif.

The spawn seems to be heavily messed up, and people have been complaining about griefing, forcing them to build in remote locations. Instead of just posting here, maybe you could have a vote on the IRC whether to accept someone or not? That might help with dubious people joining, and people will probably know each other when they join, instead of everyone being a complete stranger.

Yea, spawn has been griefed. Sucks too, was an ugly but functional windmill.
