Scandinavia and the World webcomic

Post by grimper12341 »

Fun little webcomic I found, all the characters being stereotypical of the countries they represent.

This particular comic features japan, england, sweden, germany (japan's boyfriend), the netherlands, and denmark:

Blurb at the bottom has an explanation if you don't get it.

Funny as it may be, I think this is crossing a political/racial-stereotypical line here.

I can see the concern, but... As a fan of the webcomic I can't fault grmper for sharing!

I'm Scandinavian and a fan of that comic :)

It doesn't try to portray the countries as they are but rather according to the stereotypical image the other scandinavian countries have of that particular country. (Same goes for the other countries in the comic, they're portrayed according to the Scandinavian view of sterotypes from that country :p).

This is the only webcomic I read besides xkcd. :)
