So yeah - I just got the parts today for my first from-scratch upgrade to my computer in nearly a decade. My current machine is still a beast, and can still handle regular gaming relatively well, but unfortunately the platforms I built it on have become obsolete and it cannot be upgraded any further. I put together another machine with the same underlying principles and now it's here :D

If I'm spotty on the forums or on IRC for the next few days - this is why.

Super jealous, have been using my girlfriend's mid-range laptop since my behemoth of a computer bit the dust 2 months ago and I very much miss my high-tech setup. I want an upgrade toooo :(

We have no desktop computer at home. All i have to play games on is my average toshiba laptop, which struggles to run most games. Lucky you :P
