One thing I don't like about railcraft is that it changes the vanilla rail recipe, and that railbeds are too expensive for something that when I use I use a heck of a lot of.

Otherwise it's very well implemented.

Actually, I like the nerf a lot. Having to create automated factories, just to make your long distance rails, makes a lot of sense.

I actually use it on a sever I play on. As for the recipe tweaks, if you don't like them there is a config file to change it.

Yeah but keep in mind raicraft does not offer anything in terms of automation, and BtW is incompatible with it :P

I'm contemplating to try direwolf's latest mod mix as seen in his new LP, just to have some first hand experience with some other popular mods, but I really will miss the hoper, BD, DB, and buddy block SO much.
