I love the hibachi, not only is it fun to play around with for traps, but it is also a fundamental part of BTW so that you can progress through the many tiers of the tech tree.

You made realise how much the answer to this poll depends on which other mods you use. The turntable for example just doesn't get as much attention when you also use redpower (that's how it is for me at least). This most likely applies to other blocks as well (hopper + buildcraft?).

That's precisely why I love this mod so much! It's so intricately balanced so that nothing is OP.

Since when are the tools blocks? :P

I'm very very tempted to say steel tools, because they are such a HUGE time saver, but since they are not blocks I'm torn between the hopper and the block dispenser, but I'll go with the hopper because automatically storing drops is one of my top favourite things in this mod, and it is perfectly balanced.

I know tools are not blocks but since I'm no native speaker I lack the right word ... what would you call it? ... things ... stuff ... features maybe?

Yes I do, but the thing is, I don't really understand redstone. So the turntable= fast + fun + space saver - giant headache. :3

Not really... In my case, I prefer to use the hopper. The extra sorting feature is nice, and since its a full block and not a partial, stuff doesn't fall behind it.

I find it hard to believe that nobody likes the saw....wheres the love for extra wooden planks (I was going to be just wood here, but reading it over, made me change it. What an immature community we have here;-)

It's not that people don't like the saw, the saw just ain't anyone's favourite mod block. It's a useful block but just not as useful as BDs and Hoppers :)

I'm pretty sure Flowerchild prefers the hopper (like me).
Also, filters are WAY cooler that ROMs.

Yeah, only 38 votes so far. We had 60 once so there's still room for "correcting" the result. ;)

Personally I love the water-wheel and windmill most - they just look absolutely excellent. It means a lot to me that not only can I industrialize the world with BTW, with these (and honorable mention to concrete) I can make it look and feel industrial, even without spending time doing anything "just for the look of it", since I'd be making these anyway.

Of the stuff in the poll, pulleys are probably the thing that most impressed me, so I'll go with those. There's a lot to be said for the hopper, though.

I voted for the kiln,
because of the functionality it already provides
and the potential for what I assume it could do
in the possible future.

The block dispenser comes in second place for me.

Despite the heavy weighting towards the BD and Hopper, it's rather gratifying for me to see the diverse favorites that people have here. Must mean I'm doing something right :)

Choosing my favorite was a real challenge. Especially considering how interdependent the blocks are! I personally chose the cauldron because it's incredibly diverse in its uses! I'm particularly fond of how effectively it reduces the drudge jobs in the game and increases the efficiency of things like dyes. But it was a tough call, the whole thing is really fun!

I picked the BD. The hopper, while useful, usually fills the same role in most machines: fill chests, and sort items. The BD, on the other hand, can be used for a variety of diverse tasks: roms, cobble factories, hidden passages, counters, transforming walls, doors that block light, obsidian factories, etc. Both are very useful, but the BD's uses are far more diverse.

You know, I'm actually very happy the popularity of the BD withstood the introduction of pistons into the game. There was a time when I was wondering if it would really be an effective part of the mod anymore :)

I just noticed it's Sunday evening again! Time for a new poll and I have no idea what to ask next!

Since I haven't done so I'll ask an obligatory question, if you don't like it blame Morvelaira. ;)
