I had been looking for a pyramid with loot for a long time, I had not found near the spawn. I found villas with and without loot also a witch hut not far from the spawn I thought I had bad luck with the seed. I have spent several days visiting many deserts, jungles and swamps, no structures only villas.
So a while ago I have checked with Amidst several worlds with different BTW CE versions and I can confirm that the structures only worked in 1.0.0.
I have checked 1.1.X, 1.2.X and 1.3.X in these versions the structures are not generated. The witch hut may have been generated in previous versions.
My lost loot ... I need my enchantment table : )
