Silk Touch and Clay Deposits
I'm not sure whether this really qualifies as a bug or more of a feature that doesn't exist so I'm posting it in this subforum instead of the bug reports one. Using a silk touch shovel or a block dispenser on the new clay deposit block (the dirt block with a clay colored ore texture on it) results in piles dropping instead of the block itself like I'd anticipated.

I'll take a look to make sure, but I believe that was by design.
Unfortunately there's a lot of odd blocks referencing each other with the clay given the old clay was also the ore, and I needed to preserve both previously generated blocks in the world and those already in the player's inventory.
To get that working I believe I triaged being able to silk touch the ore blocks. Maybe something I can look at again in the future, but for now, it's functioning as intended.
