Hello I've been wondering what our current permanent light solutions are now that torches are out of the question.
I know about glowstone, redstone lamp and the light block. I'm just wondering if there is maybe a better way to light up large swaths of land. Maybe burning netherrack? But i don't quite feel like filling up my caste enclosure with fires in which i will 100% step on and die at some point in time. I hoped that maybe at least nether coal could have been kept as a permanent torch solution as netherrack itself burns indefinitely and this coal type is partially made of that.
Edit: i was blind and did not see that using nether coal gives unlit torch instead of unlit crude torch. So my bad. It is permanent. I just did not read what was said to me in plain text.
