Mesh's John Smith/Conquest Mix

As the title suggests, this is a combination pack of John Smith and Conquest. I first started using the John Smith texture pack and decided to keep it updated for BTW since at the time, no one else was. Over the years I've cherry picked the best (imo) textures from each pack, and designed my own textures to fill the massive gaps. I've put thousands of hours into this pack over the years taking advantage of CTM and CIT and I consider it my labour of love.

My pack is designed to be used with MCPatcher, it contains over 4,000 CTM textures and over 700 Custom Item Textures (visual durability and enchants on tools and weapons, changing textures based on stack size), none of which you will see without it installed. Not only that, but certain textures are designed specifically with this in mind and there will be bugs if you don't have it installed.

Ha yes, it was long overdue and just makes sense. I keep getting people messaging me on all my medias asking when it's going to be updated so I figured it would be a nice idea to have a place people can track.

Also thank you again for all your help in the past, some of the stuff I've done wouldn't have been possible without it, I appreciate it

Updated to v1.51. With v4.AACK of BTW, separate overlays have been added for Stone Transitions, Kiln Cooking and Clay Drying, so I've made the following changes as a result...

v1.51 - BTW v4.AACK
Added Cooking Overlay for blocks placed in the Kiln
Reverted CTM change of Brick so that it no longer uses connect=material (It messed with textures when placing ores in the Kiln)

Exactly right! and its hard to summarise with a few pictures.
Playing with this pack is immersive as heck and playing without after using it is near impossible.

I am so glad for this!! For me this pack has been my default for so long that I just compare everything else to it. I love the small details that you (Mesh) have put in that are just missing in other, perfectly good, packs. I always come back to this one. And you haven't disappointed on the new items. That brick oven is a-frickin'-mazing!

Yeah I rushed that version up for my Monday night livestream. I've got a few things going on IRL right now, but I still have a few textures to get done so I figured I'd just do them and then release it "officially" (piston shovel, and a few other bits and bobs)

As an aside, I really like the ornate steampunk look of the piston shovel. I had a really hard time coming up with a somewhat decent texture for that thing.

Yeah I spent a while on that one due to the way it had to look, considering the amount of angles it can be placed at. I ended up taking the iron texture I use for Iron Blocks (from Conquest) and edited that to fit

So you list MCPatcher as your preferred option but i cannot for the life of me get it to work. Upon viewing the forum for the authors page and the comments it seems that its just plain dead with the new launcher. When viewing the comments it appeared that you many people are addressing the same issues that im having. All of the comments are around this last May yet you have updated this about a month ago.

Is there something im missing or a guide that i can be pointed towards?

Thanks Mesh, your work is something that im a fan of and dont feel like i can play MC without using.

I'm afraid I don't use the new launcher so I can't really help you with that as I've never used it. You're best off posting in one of the existing threads in the tech support forum if you can't find a solution in there already. I'm sure others have had problems and found solutions. Good luck

Added some Spanish characters (Ñ,á,é,í,ó,ú,ü,ñ,¿,¡) to the font, someone will have to let me know if this has worked...

Altered Oak Sub blocks (Sidings, Mouldings, Corners) (using Oak Planks from Conquest as a base)
