Hey guys,
So I figured our town was now at a stage where I could go take a load of screenshots to show some of our buildings. I've been streaming Monday - Thursday pretty much every evening for a while now (
twitch.tv/meshscorner ). Apologies, there are quite a few! and I can't seem to nest spoiler tags.
We have around 200-400 hours played in this world and everything was done in survival. The texture pack is my own mix, a combination of John Smiths and Conquest.
First off, an overview of the town in it's current state:
Our Storage room from the outside:
...and from the inside:
The main bulk of chests of the Storage room (there are overflow chests upstairs):
The kitchen, also inside the Storage room:
The Alchemy Lab (on the left) and wheat/Cocoa bean farm (on the right):
Inside the Alchemy Lab:
...and from another angle:
...another angle:
Inside the Wheat/Cocoa farm:
The Library (upstairs from the Alchemy Lab):
The "war" room (through the corridor from the Library):
The Infernal Library (unfinished, we haven't been to the End yet and there are no bookshelves in there yet), our auto vine farm in the foreground:
The Animal Farm entrance and the Aqueduct which feeds water from the mountain to the auto vine farm:
The Farm Courtyard, chicken pen to the left, main entrance and a cauldron on the right, Infernal Library towers over!:
...Courtyard from another angle:
The Pig pen:
Our semi-automatic chicken coup, using an item decay timer to feed seeds from the dispensers in the floor. The light on the left turns off when the circuit has exhausted it's supply of items, so we know to refill it.
The Rainbow Room :)
The cow/sheep fields to the back of the farm building:
Our Sawmill:
... a closeup of the saw. Eight saws, I love this thing, it demolishes a stack of logs in less than around 15 seconds.
The Windmill, containing three automated mill stones (surrounded by water flowing into a hopper/chest). We always use a windmill for mill stones, it doesn't feel right to hook them up to water wheels!:
Our Crucible, overlooking the dock and the watermelon/pumpkin farm in the background:
...closeup of the Crucible:
A different angle of the Crucible with our mob trap in the background (we haven't quite gotten round to astheticising that yet):
...another angle of the Crucible with the dock in the foreground and the Melon/Pumpkin farm to the right:
Inside the Watermelon/Pumpkin farm. The waterwheel powers the screwpumps beneath the water troughs to extend them without having to have a multi-levelled farm:
...from another angle:
Our 12 capacity kiln, fully powered with 9 hibachis for each space, so they all cook at the same time, this causes a lot of lag! :O
... wide view of the kiln:
The Pottery house (just to the right of the kiln)
The Pottery house from the inside:
...and from another angle (the door leads down to the circuitry/mechanicals):
Below the spawn pads of our (22 floor) Mob Trap. Requiring over 12,000 vines for the vine traps, we learned that 22 floors are way overkill:
The Sorting system:
Everything split into separate chests, with Bows going into the stoked Cauldron at the end there and iron all filtered into a Crucible at the opposite end of the room:
