Water behaves weird in the end- sweeping someone off the edge when he used a bucket to defend himself.
Phantom screams echo through the ruined facility
A horrible silence builds an eerie tranquility
The souls of many innocent fill the air
The hope they all died with scattered down there

I thought that the option to take off hardcore beds/spawning still existed.

Was there ever an option to disable HCbedding?

*necro*
I realized and, after ~2 weeks of playing with the feature, accepted one thing:
I thought nether groth would be just a pain to optimize your mobfarm in the nether. Just taking lots and lots of time and a tedious task, so i wasn't looking forward to it.
But no, by now it's the best part of the game for me. It just changed the whole nether gameplay. From "meh i have to go there" it's gotten to full sessions of game in the nether which are really really fun. Looking for interesections, finding my stuff by random which i dig out weeks ago ...
My favorite example of it: imagine doing your exploration for villages & co., a |-------| shaped mine / tunnelsystem which creeps about 1024 blocks around the place, and then finding an access point *from a nether fortress* randomly which you didn't even expect to be in the same way at all.
So, thanks for that FlowerChild, i thought you only wanted to make the nether harder - didn't anticipate "reclaim the nether!" quest i'm on right now.
