How to turn all Youtube embedded videos into plaintext links

The cool videos topic made me realize how much I hate embedded players and how they always cause the page to stop for a second as it loads.

I found a great solution though. There's two really great greasemonkey scripts, one of which takes embedded players and turns them into plain youtube links. The other takes the youtube link and converts it to the title of the video and allows you to mouseover the title to get a thumbnail of the video.

If you use Chrome, there's always Tampermonkey.

Once you have the addon installed, it allows you to load scripts for it.

Just a quick question as to the script, what does it do when it encounters a link that is not in plaintext but hidden behind another layer of text.

Ex; here is a video that is 'hidden' behind a bit of text.

I just installed the second script (which is really awesome btw, thanks for sharing!), and what I see is the little youtube icon followed by "here is a video" as a clickable link, which shows a thumbnail with "Y U NO AFK" when you hover over it. So yes, it still works in this case.
