A friend showed me this a few days ago, and I can't stop listening.

So I figured I'd share.

It's a very entertaining podcast that takes the form of news for the desert town of Night Vale, each episode is divided into two segments with music in between.

And remember, do not approach the dog park.
A madman sat in his empire of dust and ashes. Little knowing of the glory he would achieve. Far away, the idiots and fools dreamt of a shining new future. A future now doomed to never happen.

Yeah, it's really amazing, especially to listen to as your going to sleep. I've never managed to make it through an entire episode without dosing off, and I don't really mean that as an insult. It's weird, clever, and often beautiful. The one thing I can do without is the 'weather' music, though.

I just want to thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's very fun to listen to on my long rides to work and back. It reminds me of a book I read as a child, Sideways Stories From Wayside School. That comparison probably won't make sense to anyone else, but that's how my brain works I guess. Thanks again, I am truly enjoying it.
