  • Smooth stone brick + cracked and mossy variants
  • Vines
  • Melon
  • Melon/Pumpkin stalk (unconnected + connected)
  • Thin glass upper edge
  • Mushroom textures
  • City borders (will probably not be used)

New in items.png:
  • Bow bending states
  • Melon
  • Cooked porkchop
  • Raw beef
  • Raw and cooked chicken

On the terrain one...the 12th and 13th textures on the bottom row; they new? Looks like them there village boundaries imo.

Bah. Kinda ninja'd on that part. Still...melon and pumpkin seeds....awesome.

Also this guy made ingame pictures showing how they will look and highlighting the new textures

I do like the town boarder though, Kinda makes me think of the Civ games. Gonna hope for an option to toggle it on and off though, as it *may* ruin some of the more scenic landscapes :|

That is no plant, that are iron spikes.

as aware of that as I am, they are just grey reeds, however you look at it.

To clarify, he doesn't have 1.8 to do this properly, he just showed how the textures would look in game, so he had no iron bars to show, just reeds replaced with the iron bar texture. Likewise with the mushrooms, just replaced tree blocks to use the mushroom textures.

The one thing I noticed is the quiver on the second picture...

Same reason sponge is still in the terrain file, I guess. They haven't bothered to take it out, or plan to add it again in future.

Spider web has been there for ages and is only just being (re)added to the game.

Perhaps the quiver will get a use in 1.9.
