and that's when I learned that I get violent while on sedatives. I'm an angry drunk. (Ergo, I'm never drunk.)

I haven't had to take out any myself yet, but I had a friend who did, 4 or 5 years ago. When she took the first one out, she did exactly what the dentist said (I can't remember what it was, but it was on eating habits and washing the teeth) and had very little pain and quick healing. The next one she figured she didn't have to follow instructions by the letter, and took over a month to get well.

I guess the healing time really depends on the person, because I was in a lot of pain, yet did exactly what they told me.

4 out, same time. As well as 4 teeth before that. Drugs, lots of good drugs, and fun gaming sessions because of the drugs. Let me tell you, Monster Rancher 2 was NEVER that fun again.

I had all 4 taken out spring break of my senior year of high school, but they didn't tell me to take the double dose of pain killers after getting them to get the medication high enough in my system. So I was effectively un-drugged for four hours, until the second dose. Yeah, was not a fun spring break. lol

Is it worse than a root canal? (I had two. It's the main reason I stopped drinking soda) and do you need to get them removed? I have three that have come in without causing me problems..

I don't know how bad a root canal is, so I can't answer you that question.
Wether or not they have to be removed depends on the patiant. In my case
I was biting the inside of my cheeks wich resultet in an inflammation.
All four don't have enough space so yeah they had to go to avoid more pain
in the future.
I'll get rid of the other two in three or four weeks.
