I posted in the admin forum (viewable only to admins). But I'm posting an image here as well:

I'd suggest everyone who's had their signature or avatar removed post there as well, this is ridiculous.

Best I could do with my limited skills.
Will make a propper sized one once I have time tomorrow.
I believe it is spelled 'independent'. That one doesn't work with the whole <dances> thing ;)
Can you perhaps be a bit more detailed about what does not work.
I'm open to rational criticism, but I do need more details to improve it then.
Will also fix the spelling error with the next version.

I believe what did not "work" was a reference to FlowerChilds first banner, which feature the fancy spelling "independance". It was quickly corrected, although someone did mention that it could work as "indepen<dance>".

My signature banner is still present on MCF however I haven't directly posted anything about BWF specificly. I'm posting in recent updates as I'm sure the topics about the secret Christmas features will get some high visibility when its officially released as the masses are too lazy to figure it out for themselves. I'm headed to general discussion and suggestions next.

As an aside, I just realized how appropriate my avatar is for this. :-)

Will give it a thought.
But the current one is more about "independence" and is supposed to
encourage people to think about it.
Hence the short and "hopefully" memorable" message in form of a simple question.
Not that this needed any specific explaining, apart from the unfortunate spelling error ;)

Anyway, will update the banner sometime later today.

@Mac: The "Do you?" part of your banner blends a bit much with the background though, making it hard to read. My 2¢. :)

can i ask why any attempt to post anything about the current situation is pretty much being locked down imediatly and deleted by the mcf admins.

is it just a attempt at keeping any arguments from happening, or pretty much trying to supress whats really happening when they pretty much lost all credible arguments?

Probably just keeping order in the forums. It's pretty clear that any thread about this subject will descend into chaos regardless of the intentions of the original poster. Can't blame them for not wanting to provide the battleground for this.

Follow up. This is RIDICULOUS! SO "No means no" messages were removed because people complained because of the "rape" message in those words. Ridiculous.

What if we said "don't steal mods!" could people who know someone who has been pick pocketed get the signatures removed because they were offended?

What if we said "don't copy mods" could people who know someone who has been plagiarized get the signatures removed because they were offended?

Do signatures advocating military mods get removed because people died in wars and others are offended by that?

Just finished remaking my banner.

Granted,
it may be crude in difference to what is already out there.
And I do not have the greatest skills in artwork.

Anyway,
here's my improved version with corrected spelling.

As usual I am open to good reasoned criticism.

I think it's rapidly becoming clear that this does represent bias on the part of the MCF staff.

The only people shouting "rape" while feigning indignation are trolls largely coming from 4Chan and Technic, while they simultaneously throw cancer analogies around in their own threads, thereby contradicting their own arguments.

But what can you do? When a group like Technic is formed around people incapable of installing their own mods, seemingly oblivious to the concept that "more does not equal better", and without the moral sense to see what they're doing is wrong, it's no surprise that it's largely evolved into the handicapped parking-area of the overall MC community that it currently is :)

Anyways guys, just switch banners to one of the many that the folks here have so thoughtfully provided and keep on trucking. As I said before, the issue is widely known enough now that the banners can afford to be more ambiguous while still clearly demonstrating the intent behind them.

I guess it is good then that the Borg-Banner has neither 'No' nor 'means' in it! ;)

One of the moderators removed my signature from the MCF. I have done nothing wrong, i post friendly replies, and as you can see below, my banner isn't provocative.

It's getting out of hand. I hope mine doesn't get removed. *runs off to check*

EDIT: Nope. It's still there.

they seem to be targettiong the 'no means no' banners, just swap to one of the other banners.

report here though which banner was removed, if they start targetting other banners, well it will give everyone here a good reason to report confront the moderators about well.. abusing their power.

I know this is old now, but I just learned about this drama a few days ago.

Also, disappointed that no one used a slogan with "FORGEries" in it lol

I was thinking more along the lines of this- but alas I'm a little late.

[to] FORGE (verb) produce a fraudulent copy or imitation of
Phantom screams echo through the ruined facility
A horrible silence builds an eerie tranquility
The souls of many innocent fill the air
The hope they all died with scattered down there

Why would you be late? This isn't over yet, and the more banners the better, so if you still want to make one, go ahead and do so.

Thats the RP version of the vertical windmill. It has nothing to do with BWF and has been known about for awhile.
