Canvas Transparency

Post by EdzyWhat »

Hey I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue with transparent canvases in custom texture packs:

The other two are paintings just for reference.

Essentially, I'm getting black lines along the 1M lines of the canvas. This doesn't happen with my transparent large paintings, so I don't know if maybe this is an issue with my installation of BTW, or my Nvidia driver settings (I've forced anti-aliasing for Java), or if there have always been transparency issues with canvasses. If that's the case, I'd just like to know so I can abandon transparent work on the btwart01.png.

Thanks!
I had an image here once. Then I took an arrow... somewhere...

I think it's because, unlike paintings, canvas are not completely flat, it's like 0.1 block deep.
So when you try to custom the canvas, if you don't use something the same size as the canvas, there's no texture to display for the side.

In other words : Don't make them too small and it'll be ok.
