Hello, my name is Michiel Hollister, I have been lurking over these forums for some time now. I was finally convinced however to join by my good friend chi-chan (Panda). I'm looking forwards to spending time conversing with all of you on these forums!

One a side note i promise to:
Think very carefully about any suggestions and wait at least a month before posting one.
not use annoying sentence structure like 'ALL CAPS!!!'
And try my hardest to contribute to this community.

I think you missed a "not" there, as I'm pretty sure you are promising to NOT use annoying sentence structures ;).

Haha probably not, it seems there are many animal themed avatars here, I'm thinking one of my plants maybe?
