The Iron Pick Challenge

Today I want to introduce you to The Iron Pick Challenge, a simple early game challenge.
This Challenge could be combined or be part of the proposed Race To The End Challenge.

Your Goal:
Set a timer and collect, as fast as possible, the amount of iron needed to craft an iron pick.
Which is 27 nuggets or 3 iron ingots.
And then craft the pick.

In the past this took me at my best around 1h30min to 2 hours.

Success?
Then stop your timer and get your world seed (by typing /seed ).
Then post your time and your seed here in this thread.

Rules
- you have to craft an iron pick
- you may choose your seed in advance
- you may play repeatedly on one seed. In this case in addition to providing your seed, also add which number attempt it is.
- Game Mode: Survial
- Generated Structure: On
- World type: Default
- Cheats: On (for /seed)
- other rules to be added in the future, if nessesary

Ideas
Maybe in the future, futher requirements to fulfill the challenge could be added.

If you guys have any other suggestions to make the challenge more difficult or different, then let me know!

I only realise after uploading video i was wrong with the challenge !

But i believe there are a very very good start !
I only make 2 runs to make that ... So it will be easy to improve ^^

I have now specified in the OP, that one has to actually craft the pick.
That's probably something you could do easily with that seed you tried!

I love this idea. I proposed the Race to the End (although the idea clearly came from Vioki and Charlie) and I think more challenges of this type are a great idea. For that challenge, I proposed a seed so that everyone plays the same world. I think that doing both the same seed as others and the same for all are both great for this challenge. The proposed seed for the RttE challenge was -9057352651117540831 and may be better suited for that longer challenge. Although i'd love to see people try this one. I will be posting my time as soon as I can.

This is a seed that I have played on many times. If you try this seed you may be curious, yes I did craft the pick.

suggestion: Maybe report the world time as opposed to a stopwatch timer as this will represent actual game time (obviously /time set would be cheating)

I followed the rules as written for this, but I did not mine any iron. so specifying that 27 iron must be mined first may be needed.

Please give this seed a try and see if you can do better!

Is this time on my seed? If so, try again (Hint, there are 2 Ravines) I would never have gotten that iron that quickly in a real play. It was pretty risky going for it that early, but I knew that was my endgame. It really is a great seed both for getting started and getting to the End.

So you're not playing on the latest version, ko_teknik? We should probably all run the same version. Hardcore stumps affect the speed of play, at least a little bit. I sound picky and competitive, that's not what I'm going for, This is just a friendly challenge. So take this as a friendly suggestion.

Yes i play for fun and of course with stump ! I play with texture pack r3d craft but we can see stumps !

I'm sorry. That's what I get for being picky. that first tree that you go to, the second log up has dirt next to it so it looked like it was the bottom most log. So that's egg on my face!
