Does Gloom only affect the player, or does it affect mobs too?
I ask because every night my base has been assaulted by spiders that climb onto the roof... except tonight. The only difference? Tonight's a gloom night.
I think they might of been eaten by the darkness...
Meep.

Gloom Night Question
On the internet you can be whatever you want. It's surprising so many people choose to be stupid.

Re: Gloom Night Question
I'm 95% sure it doesn't affect mobs and it's just a coincidence. I'm not sure though.

Re: Gloom Night Question
I've been stuck outside on the new moon on a respawn and got killed pretty much nonstop til dawn, so I don't think it affects mobs.

Re: Gloom Night Question
It is possible gloom affects the rate of zombie and skele spawns. Though i remember a lot of angry 8 red eyes staring at me in the darkness.
Did it rained the day before?
